Micro- extrusion

In recent years, Tecno System has strengthened its expertise in micro-extrusion for medical applications, offering high-performance, fully customizable solutions.
The micro-tubes produced offer significant advantages:

• Very tight tolerances

These features allow for the miniaturization of medical devices, using biocompatible materials and certified production processes. The tubes are used in numerous biomedical fields, including: cardiovascular, epiduroscopy, neurology, gynecology, urology, and many more.

Micro-extrusion lines
Our micro-extrusion lines allow the production of:
• Single-lumen and multi-lumen tubes (up to 18 lumens)
• Single-layer and multi-layer solutions (up to 5 layers)
• Outer diameters from 0.40 mm to 14 mm
• Using various thermoplastic materials (SOFT PVC, TPU, FEP, etc.)

We also offer dedicated solutions for producing bump tubing, i.e. tubes with variable diameters along their length.
These tubes—also known as taper tubing or draw-down tubing—typically have a larger proximal end (near the operator) and a smaller distal end (for insertion into the body). They are highly customizable based on the medical device they are intended to connect to.
